Every day on Twitter, we post a PR tip. This can be about media interviews, media strategy, PR or video making – or indeed anything we feel might be useful and is media related. Here’s a round up of this week’s tips:
- In a crisis, hold a press conference, rather than expect your key spokesperson to do back to back interviews
- If you’re holding a press conference, decide in advance who sits where and who says what
- In a press conference, you’re in control & can move on from difficult questions
- If you want TV to cover your event/business, consider what pictures they can film
- If you want TV coverage, provide facilities for a ‘pre-shoot’ the night before to get on breakfast bulletins
