I just wanted to write a quick line about how our new Crisis Management service came about.
Last October I attended a ‘Workshop Bootcamp’ run by the lovely Fiona Humberstone of Flourish Studios (and I highly recommend her workshops).
One of the other people attending the bootcamp was Philippa Varey of Oriel Marketing. After the workshop, we walked back to the car park together and chatted about our respective businesses. As media consultants and strategic marketing specialists, there seemed to be a really good synergy between us.
We resolved to meet up again, and did so last November, and at this meeting we discussed the types of services we offered our clients, and the challenges that faced them. Out of those discussions was born the idea of linking Oriel’s expertise in strategic planning with our expertise in crisis communications training to provide a full Crisis Management Service.
This means that for the first time, if our clients want to prepare their businesses for the worst to ensure that when problems and crises arise, they don’t become the subject of a media feeding frenzy, Oriel and Rough House will be able to help. So they can concentrate on resolving their difficulties and keeping their businesses running smoothly.
So please welcome our Crisis Management Service, with many thanks to Fiona!
