This week’s Twitter tips focussed on how to add a bit of interest and spark to your interviews with journalists:

1. To give memorable interview with a journalist, use accessible language
2. Use interesting analogies and anecdotes to bring media interviews to life
3. Well chosen statistics can be very effective in media interviews, but not too many
4. Try to ‘humanise’ your interviews by using real life examples
5. When you’re doing a radio interview, aim to use colourful language that will stick in the listener’s mind
